Two fun stories from our JMC family. One of my co-pastors and I had a wonderful conversation this morning about God’s provision and he shared how God provided the housing he has been asking Him for! This man and his relatives make up about half of our family members, filling half of our living room each week. He came this last Sunday and dropped off some of his relatives and then hit the road with his son because he had an appointment to make for his housing, which has been a huge need for quite some time. It worked out and it makes him that much more available to the missionary work God has called us to together! We were praising God with a lot of enthusiasm over the phone this morning since God had woken us both quite early this morning. So encouraging. Thank You, LORD JESUS!
Small but very encouraging miracle:
Last night I took the kids out of the house to enjoy the fresh air, Amelie on my back and Jackson in the Bob (stroller). I told Jackson we just needed three items from the grocery store. We took the long route and enjoyed watching cars coming through the car wash and said hello for a while to Patti who frequents the streets in that area and the car wash car-drying young lady who took a liking to the kiddos.
After arriving st the store and buying the milk and eggs and (gasp… beer… which wasn’t on my list), we headed home. When we got home, guess what was in our bags! BUTTER! Butter was the item I had mentioned to my son Jackson which I promptly forgot once I saw some Hobo beer, a very understandable mix-up.
It may seem a very small thing, but it was crazy and only humanly explainable in a couple of ways, but definitely a fun and small miracle.
It is amazing how God knows just how to encourage us in those ways that speak to our hearts and remind us to place our full weight upon His goodness!
