Seeing YOUR Eyes

(This image was posted on FB by a friend… I didn’t create it… so true though! Love is this that Jesus would die for us!)

It is a very biblical appeal for us to ask to see the Lord’s eyes in our prayer lives as Jesus’ followers. We must cry out to encounter the Living God!

This song came to me after spending time in the Word with the Lord the other day. Let’s seek the Lord Who makes Himself so readily available, dear siblings in Christ!

2 Samuel 23:1-7 impacted me this morning. They are King David’s last words and David’s confidence in the fear and favor of God refreshes me. We don’t write new Scripture, and yet we can receive clear promptings from the Lord and be impacted by God’s holiness and other attributes to the point of experiencing consistency and character growth and unity among believers! God’s character traits shine through us “like the morning light, like the cloudless morning, like rain that makes grass to sprout from the earth.”

It’s leadership that is fully submitted to the Lord that the body of Christ needs more today than ever!

“The Spirit of the Lord speaks by me; His Word is on my tongue. The God of Israel has spoken; the Rock of Israel has said to me: When one rules justly over men, ruling in the fear of God, he dawns on them like the morning light…”

As I read this I looked outside here in Los Angeles and saw not even one cloud in the sky. It’s a beautiful and sunny morning and God is giving me more and more confidence that He is on the move through God’s people to shine His favor on all who simply respond to the Gospel call of repentance and faith!

May we be ready laborers in the vineyard, family!
