Many believers are up early today to celebrate the Son of God, risen from the grave, having overcome death that we who trust in Him as Lord and Savior my never know an eternal dying of God’s wrath in Hell.  What a mercy of God that we who believe upon Jesus can know an eternal joy, an eternal celebration!

Oh that our response to such a wonderful and bright future would be all-in service of this Risen Son of God!

Holy God, thank You for planning and fulfilling on this great plan of salvation for all who trust in You through the hope found in the Life, Death, and Resurrection of the Son of God, Jesus the very Christ Himself.  Lord, please give us steadfast love in Him, power in the promised Holy Spirit, and belonging as Your children.  May our drought of soul be more concerning here in California than our desperate need for physical water.  May we remember that our truest and deepest satisfaction can only be found in relationships with You, LORD, the true and living God Himself.  Thank You for the true and life-transforming story of the Life, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ!  This story holds the hope available for everyone who truly considers the personal implications of this Divine Rescue Mission!
