Revival & Billy’s Legacy

My cousin died a few years back in a bad car accident and I never knew for sure whether he had a genuine conversion experience in relationship with Jesus and the price He paid for all who simply entrust their souls to His death for them. His name was Billy.

Billy Graham just died yesterday, and his legacy is one of unashamed and passionate preaching of the hope we have in the death of Jesus Christ and eternal life in Him given as a gift.

My prayer is to see a revival through day to day people across this globe in the coming years. Less and less does the big pulpit preacher deeply impact those who are most ripe for the Gospel message of Jesus’ death to give us life. More and more it is our responsibility as it has always been but especially here in California where we are in many cases a “post Christian” culture.

Friends, it is our responsibility to preach the Gospel through loving action followed up although true and loving sharing of the warnings and genuine offer of HOPE Jesus’ life and death and eternal life display to us! God’s Word is clear that no man or woman can come to the Father except by faith in our LORD Jesus Christ!

If your law had not been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction. I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life. I am yours; save me, for I have sought your precepts. – Psalm 119:92-94

This morning I have been up since 12:30 praying hard for the Spirit to bring revival in part through this movement of house churches and small groups on mission for Jesus, but also I have been praying for renewal to the church across our land!
