Good morning! I wanted to share another one of my experiences with you this morning. I have had many challenges to face in my life but there is one in particular that I would like to tell you about today. I was 23 years old when I was diagnosed with a type of cancer called “Hodgkin’s Disease”, or “Hodgekin’s Lymphoma” (Here is a link to find out more about this disease  http://www.cancer.org/cancer/hodgkindisease/detailedguide/hodgkin-disease-what-is-hodgkin-disease#). This particular cancer attacks your lymph system and by the time it was discovered in me I was in stage 3 of 4. My body functions had become diminished and where getting close to shutting down. Fear became my companion and a depression settled over me at first, and then a scripture from my Bible offered me comfort and encouragement.
The scripture was Philippians 1:20- For I fully expect and hope that I will never be ashamed, but…
